We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager for Epilepsy Scotland. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the organisation’s financial management and operational efficiency.

You will play a key role in ensuring financial sustainability, governance compliance, and effective resource management.

**This is a part time role, and the salary on offer is pro-rata**

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and monitoring of budgets, financial plans, and long-term growth strategies.
• Oversee the Sage accounting system, ensuring robust financial systems and accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and detailed financial reports for the Board and Senior Management Team.
• Manage day-to-day accounts, payroll, and compliance with charity regulations.
• Support governance and accountability, attending SMT, Finance Sub-Group, and Board meetings.
• Represent the charity externally and foster partnerships with members, volunteers, and other organisations.
• Contribute to risk management, organisational resilience, and health & safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and SAGE accounting system management.
• Extensive experience in budget planning, cash-flow management, and producing management accounts.
• Experience working in the voluntary sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent IT, Excel, and database skills.
