We are looking for a brilliant storyteller to join our team in the role of Senior Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser.

This role is so important to our hospice, and will be the bedrock of building compelling propositions and projects to ensure the highest quality care for families across Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire.

You will feel the impact of your work every day as you walk around our hospice and see the difference you are making to patients and their families. It’s truly profound!

The role of Senior Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser will work closely with me and the wider team on

1.     new project development

2.     cultivating relationships with funders

3.     managing existing relationships with key funding partnership such as National Lottery and Children in Need

4.     maximising on the funding needs of the Hospice

You will work directly with staff from across the hospice, with key audiences and a wide range of stakeholders to consolidate an already effective income stream.

St. Vincent’s Hospice is a charitable organisation at the heart of the community, offering specialist care and services to all those affected by life-shortening illness; we are known as “the little hospice with the big heart”.

Our strong foundations

We have a strong pipeline of existing funders including multiyear pledges from i.e National Lottery and Children in Need. And whilst relationship management and reporting is critical, this role will predominantly focus on our rolling programme of asks and reconnecting with annual funders to ensure St Vincent’s Hospice remains at the front mind and a recipient for their generous support.

Our Trusts and Grants budget for this FY is £540,000 (with just short of 50% already committed from our multiyear agreements). The remaining £300k will come from our rolling programme of warm asks, and adding new prospects into the pipeline.
