Epilepsy Scotland is a national charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with epilepsy. Through a wide range of services—including information, advice, support groups, and community-based programmes—the organisation empowers individuals to manage their condition and live independently. Epilepsy Scotland also plays a vital role in raising awareness, reducing stigma, and influencing policy and practice to ensure better outcomes for those affected by epilepsy across Scotland.
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and clear direction to Epilepsy Scotland, ensuring the organisation continues to deliver high-quality, person-centred services to individuals and families affected by epilepsy. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will be responsible for shaping and implementing the organisation’s vision, driving sustainable growth, and strengthening partnerships across the health, social care, and third sectors. The role will champion innovation, advocacy, and inclusion, ensuring the voice of those living with epilepsy remains at the heart of all activity while maintaining strong governance, financial stewardship, and organisational resilience.
